HGUC 1/144 Gouf (21st Century Real Type Ver.) from "Mobile Suit Gundam" — Katsumi Kawaguchi-supervised Real-Type-color rearrangement of the REVIVE HGUC Gouf with toned-down primary colors and a dedicated water-slide decal.
This release applies a 21st-century arrangement of the classic Real Type color theme to the REVIVE HGUC Gouf, supervised by Bandai's Katsumi Kawaguchi. The molding tones step back from the bright primary colors of the standard anime release, capturing the muted, slightly military feel that 1980s modelers adopted from Kazuhisa Okawara's MS illustrations of that era. A water-slide decal sheet reproduces the line marks, unit numbers and caution markings characteristic of the original 1/100 Real Type series.
The base kit is the latest REVIVE HGUC Gouf released in 2016, so the wider range of motion of the modern engineering carries through. Packaging follows the MSV taste of the period, using a digirama based on photography to evoke the 1/100 MSV box art of the early 80s.
