RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam (Oowashi Equipment) from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny" — the Oowashi-equipped Akatsuki, with three-tone gold plating.

From "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny", the Akatsuki Gundam in Oowashi configuration is recreated in RG with three types of gold plating across the body. Multi-faceted shaping adjusts the angle of light reflection to express the "Yata-no-Kagami" coating's gleam. The Oowashi pack's nose, hatch, and beam cannon all deploy, and both wings move flexibly so the unit can be displayed fully equipped. Selected sections share frame parts with the RG Strike Gundam, giving the unit equivalent action range.

The shoulders use a pull-out mechanism for an expanded motion range, and the hip joints open wide for bold posing. A torso swing and arm/leg armor-linked sliding gimmick adapt the structure to the pose. The shoulder upper-surface and side-leg verniers carry articulation, and realistic decals reproduce body-wide markings. The kit is also compatible with the separately sold "HG 1/144 Destiny Gundam Spec II & Zeus Silhouette" for Zeus Silhouette equipment (Zeus Silhouette mounting requires the "RG Akatsuki Shiranui Pack & HG Zeus Silhouette Connection Parts" sold via Premium Bandai).
