PLANNOSAURUS Tyrannosaurus Painting Ver.
Plannosaurus Tyrannosaurus Painting Ver. from "Plannosaurus" — a paintable Tyrannosaurus using a paper-powder-blended plastic, designed for at-home coloring.
The Plannosaurus brand — built around getting hands-on with dinosaurs through skeleton-then-skin assembly — releases its strongest hunter, Tyrannosaurus, in a painting version that uses a new plastic blended with paper powder. The Skeletal Build phase teaches the dinosaur's internal structure, and the Dinosaur Build phase fits outer-skin parts on top of the skeleton in a sequence unique to plastic kits. No nippers, glue, or other tools are required. Selectable parts let you reproduce a feathered state based on current paleontological theory. The paper-powder-blended plastic accepts paint readily — acrylic gouache and other household paints work well, so you can color the model in your own palette.
* Acrylic paints are recommended. Avoid thinning the paint too much with water; if thinned too far, the paint may bead off the surface. Painted parts may transfer color if rubbed.
