HG 1/144 GUNDAM BARBATOS
HG 1/144 Gundam Barbatos Adapt from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" — the bridge unit between Barbatos and Barbatos Lupus, recreated in HG for the first time.
Featured in the 10th-anniversary short "Maku-ai no Misogi," Gundam Barbatos Adapt is a field-repaired rebuild of the original Barbatos after the Edmonton battle, patched together by the Tekkadan mechanics with new armor and reinforced gear from Teiwaz. The kit captures that massive, rebuilt silhouette with all-new outer parts and includes two katana of different sizes that mount to the waist attachment points.
The Adapt also debuts updated Gundam Frame components that significantly expand articulation. New cervical, shoulder, torso, and hip joints widen poseability across the upper body, while KPS replacements for select polycap joints stabilize action poses.
Key Features
- First HG release of the Barbatos Adapt configuration with fully new outer armor
- Two newly tooled katana (large and small) included as attached weapons
- Updated Gundam Frame: multi-axis cervical joint, new shoulder parts, swing-mechanism hips, and re-tooled abdomen for upper-body twist
- Movable rear-skirt thruster unit
- KPS-converted joint parts replace select polycaps for sturdier posing
- Special box art drawn by chief mecha animator Hiroshi Arisawa
