MGEX 1/100 Strike Freedom Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny" — the second entry in the MGEX line, themed around the highest-peak metal expression in Gunpla history.

Combining Bandai' accumulated technology with mixed-material construction, MGEX is a high-end MG sub-brand that targets a single defining theme per unit. For Strike Freedom, that theme is metal expression: three special surface treatments, two metallic molding colors, and a sheet of etched markings combine into six distinct patterns that surface the metallic feel of the internal frame from every angle.

The internal frame carries the largest number of frame-linked motion gimmicks in MG history. Armor-linked motion seen partially in earlier MG and RG kits is now applied across many sections, so the structure moves organically as a whole. Part construction leaves visible gaps between armor pieces, and red clear parts further emphasize the frame underneath. Multi-stage hip articulation — pull out, then rotate — lets you naturally reproduce the famous flying pose with both legs crossed.
